What is the Framework Agreement?
When you see Framework Agreement logo next to an organisation on Help Yourself, it means that they hold a contract with Sheffield City Council for the provision of care and support services. This means that they have been through a competitive and rigorous tender process which will have ensured they are an organisation deemed fit to do direct business with the Council. They will have met all the required criteria, including professional insurance and indemnity requirements, business references and safeguarding procedures and will have agreed full terms of business with the council. The organisation will be subject to robust and regular quality assurance and contract monitoring by the Councils' own internal Contracts and Partnership Team.
This also means that if you are a Support Planner working with an individual you can ask the Council to purchase care and support directly from this organisation.

Help Yourself is an online directory of community groups, support groups, health and social care organisations in Sheffield. Here you will find leisure activities such as dancing, drama, reading and writing groups, art, music and youth clubs. You will find groups for older people, people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, homeless people, asylum seekers, refugees.
