Sheffield Alcohol Support Service (SASS)
SASS is a registered charity which provides support, information and advice to those concerned with their own or someone else's drinking. The service runs a residential rehabilitation home for people with alcohol problems (see separate entry).

The main service is for adults aged 19 years and over, however SASS also has a dedicated Young Persons Alcohol Worker who works with people aged 11-25 years. SASS can also provide training for young people working in substance misuse services and speakers for meetings (see separate entry). They host the Families Together project, which works with families where children are at risk of being taken into care, supporting families to implement strategies which enable the children to remain safely at home where possible.

SASS also provides an advice and information service, help with money management, employment support and social, cultural and learning opportunities. Self or any referral.

Drop-in sessions held at Abbeydale Road, S7 (Thursday & Friday).
