South Yorkshire Housing Association Ltd (SYHA)

South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA), recently voted Regional Social Landlord of the Year at the Housing Excellence Awards 2011, is a charitable, not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary board. Founded in 1972, SYHA own and manage more than 6000 homes throughout Sheffield as well as Options - Home Care (see separate entry). As the largest provider of Care and Supported Housing in the region, the support services offered are expansive, reflecting the wide range of backgrounds and levels of care that residents may require, both those with general needs and various care and support requirements including extra care.
