Description Annual carnival on the 2nd Saturday in July. Carnival and gala in Stannington Park and Lomas Hall on the Saturday including stalls, parade, displays and fairground organ. Volunteers welcome. Aims to organise an annual carnival in Stannington in which local organisations are given encouragement and opportunity to raise funds and promote themselves. Any profits made may be distributed to local organisations according to the decision of the Committee.
