A high quality self-directed support service for all disability groups (physical disabilities, sensory impairment, learning disabilities, children and young people, users of mental health services, older people and carers). Offers a range of services shaped around what service users are asking for. Empowers individuals to make choices in the way their care and support is delivered. Offers advice and support to people who receive direct payments. Helps individuals to manage their care budget. Will also recruit a personal assistant and employ a personal assistant. The service is free to users who are funded via direct payments. |
