Mayfield Alpacas
Mayfield Alpacas is a working farm which breeds alpacas and is open to the public to visit. There is a trail marked with arrows that takes about half an hour to walk around to see the 120 alpacas resident on the farm. Also keeps other animal such as horses, ducks, goats, chickens and geese. Dogs are welcome but should be kept on a non-extending lead.

The farm has a visitors centre with information and displays tracing the history of Alpacas from the Incas to present day commercial fleece production. The centre includes a coffee shop and shop selling alpaca woollens and clothing from Peru. Can also cater for educational school visits.


There is an admission charge of 3.50 per adult and 1.50 per child aged 3-13 years (children under 3 go free), this price is provided by Mayfield Alpacas, please check it yourself for accuracy.
