Blue Loop, The
River Stewardship Company
The Blue Loop is a project that aims to encourage individuals and those from under-represented groups in deprived communities, to take part in numerous activities such as bird watching, nature walks, mini beasting, treasure hunting and removing invasive plant species. In addition to these activities Blue Loop also works with schools in order to encourage young children to get involved in helping to look after and appreciate the local rivers.

One of Blue Loop's major contributions to local communities is to increase local people's knowledge of the variety of wildlife that is accessible to the general public. This has proved particularly successful amongst schools, volunteers and community groups.
