Search by Word
Simple Word Search
Type in the name of an organisation (or part of the name) eg Age UK, Sheffield Mind, Mencap. Then click on the search button. Or you can type in 1 word (or part of a word) that you would expect to find in the description of an organisation eg drama, fishing, craft. You can type in 2 words that you would expect to find together eg line dancing, kick boxing, debt advice, reading group, support group. Then click on the search button.
Advanced Word Search
Type in a maximum of 4 words that you expect to appear in the description of an organisation or in the name of an organisation. Then click on the search button
Tuition Maths English
Yoga Monday S6
If you get no or few results, limit the number of words you use (the search will expect to find every word in the description field or in the name field).
If you are searching for an activity on a particular day type in the day in full eg “dancing Tuesday”. If an organisation meets Monday-Friday this is how you will find it in the description on our website. So if your return few or no results searching on “dancing Tuesday”, try doing the same search again but “dancing Monday-Friday”, to pick up any dance classes you did not pick up during your first search.
Please note, that not every group or organisation tells us where and when they hold their activities, so it can be helpful to leave out days and postcode area (S8, S2 etc)when typing in your search.
